Gospel Duck for Kid's President

In the midst of this year's election, the Lord brought something to my mind. No, this is not a political post although I urge everyone to vote. It's the children that are on my heart today, so may I introduce you to Gospel Duck. ​

I met Gospel Duck at a Radio Rally where the Macs sang the National Anthem. If you've read my book about our family, "I Will Not Fear: A Chosen Life," you know that this was the last time we sang together here. It was only a week before my daughter, Stacie moved to Heaven. ​

Len and Cathy Mink were the special guests that day, and right after we were done singing, it was time for Len to bring out his puppet. As Stacie whispered to me that she needed to go on home, Gospel Duck told Len that somebody needed prayer. So they stopped and prayed as we left the room. Stacie thought it was so cool that Gospel Duck asked for prayer for her. ​

Len is also a singer/songwriter, and his CD, "Songs They Sing in Heaven," has given us so much peace and comfort that Stacie is exactly where she chose to be.

 ​In the last few years, I have seen Gospel Duck (and Len and Cathy) several times. Their ministry is always a blessing. If you go to their website you can find out for yourself about their amazing testimonies, wonderful TV program on the TCT Network, which I watch every day, Len's music, Cathy's teaching, and Gospel Duck. 

We have a great-nieces and nephews and many adopted grandkids and even great-grandkids. I love to give Gospel Duck CD's and DVD's as gifts. They teach things in a fun and engaging way. For his birthday this year we gave this plush Gospel Duck and CD to David Alan, one of the special kids in our life. I sent this photo to Len and Cathy and they said, "What a little man of God!"

I've been on Facebook for almost a year and haven't shared much but my author posts. But I'm going to start sharing more things like this on my personal page. Let's give this young generation positive biblical role models like Gospel Duck. I promise to write kids books that do the same.
